Hadar Golan-Berman has won a three-year scholarship from the Manja Gideon Foundation. Her research focuses on the way repair processes work in cancer cells, in order to develop more effective treatment methods for ovarian cancer. The project is being carried out at Dr. Sheera Adar’s DNA Repair Genomics Lab at the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
With a team of international scientists, the PhD student co-authored a research paper that was recently published in Nature Communications magazine and can be accessed online for free.
